You typically just copy the war-file that contains the webapp for red 5. If red5 is started after the copying the .war ist extracted and installed.

I was following the Wiki page to install Red5 and it didn't work.

This page has some pretty specific directions on the install:

http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHDOC/Red5+V1.1

but when I got done Red5 said it couldn't find "matterhorn-engage".

I think the Wiki is missing a step where you need to move a WEB-INF under the
matterhorn directory you create in step 10. Something like this probably needs
to be added to step 10:

cp -a /opt/matterhorn/contrib/matterhorn-engage-streaming/www/WEB-INF/
/opt/matterhorn/red5/webapps/matterhorn
cp -a /opt/matterhorn/contrib/matterhorn-engage-streaming/www/loggertest.jsp
/opt/matterhorn/red5/webapps/matterhorn

Let me know if this is the right move or if some other configuration step is
still needed. Red5 started playing from Engage after the above copies.
