Hi,

we currently consider new hardware for our capture agents in the lecture rooms. Our current hardware is DualCore, and we see our systems go up to about 70% each while recording.

Will QuadCore bring better performance on the capture agents, or is this an overkill? When recording Audio, Camera and Presentation, are this 3 workflows, each of which would be encoded in a seperate workflow=core, causing less hassle?

The question also arises, since lecturers tend to ask for additional features such as confidence monitoring, which would need additional processing power and thus is more likely to bring in hassle with the recordings, if CPUs meet the 100% limit.

I hope there are some recommendations to this out there :): should we go for QuadCore or is it not worth it?

Greetings and a nice day,
