ok, thanks, you was a great help with the 3rd party tools!!

i could solve my problem right now! in both versions 1.1 and 1.2.

just for a try i started matterhorn NOT with service matterhorn start,
INSTEAD with /etc/init.d/matterhron start. mediainfo could be executed
in this way ... weird thing!
