Are you running RHEL or Centos?
Then you need to uncomment the lines in:
felix/conf/services/org.opencastproject.inspection.impl.MediaInspectionServiceImpl.properties
felix/conf/services/org.opencastproject.textextractor.tesseract.TesseractTextExtractor.properties
The path settings somehow do not work with the init.d script in this OS.

and copy to folder
/opt/matterhorn/1.2.0/docs/scripts/3rd_party/base_libs/tiff
and re-run.
I think there are no problems?

To correct this you need to make a change in the file:
/opt/matterhorn/1.2.0/docs/scripts/3rd_party/utilx
where the change is:

it is set to: http://mirrors.kernel.org)
And re-run the script again.
