We do something that is similar though not quite the same; we allow instructors to come to a self service page, which shows them (from our campus information system) which classes are available for them to record, then hits the matterhorn rest endpoints if they sign up. The latter. Capture agents can consume ical to schedule from. If you're not using Matterhoern capture agents, then the scheduling doesn't provide any significant benefit to you. The Admin pages themselves can't import from ical, only a capture agent does. So you could get matterhorn capture agents up to use your current myth scheduling, for instance, if it outputs to ical...
