Morning, long time listener, first time poster
We are interested in setting up a Matterhorn pilot. I'm looking over
the hardware specs for the capture agent and noticed that most of the
equipment listed under the reference hardware page are rather expensive
thru the preferred vendor, particularly the MB and cpu. That
particular board and cpu look to also have been discontinued by the
manufacturers. It would also be nice to be able to support quad core
cpu's and more than 4 gig's of memory.
On the bright side, I have a PV-350 that I'm re-purposing from an
old mythtv setup :)
I'm considering other mini-itx boards but wanted to find out if a)
there's some other list of tested boards I could reference b) any
specific hardware I should be looking for in a different board and c)
any common pitfalls that I should avoid?
Along those lines, we're considering for cameras either a Sony
EVI-d70 or EVI-d100. Any pro's or cons for either?
Any advice would be most welcome.
