That's quite true. AFAIK that method would - however - lose e.g. the start/end trimming data etc, which force the sysadmin to go thru each vid again: trimming them, setting the correct series etc. But like you said, that would be one solution.

As QA manager I imagine that this will fall somewhat on my shoulders.
This may not happen for 1.2 ->  1.3, but I don't see any reason why it
shouldn't for 1.3 ->  1.4.
