Frank, you have to configure the segmentation to work properly for your
environment. The config file for that is in
felix/conf/services/org.opencastproject.analysis.vsegmenter.VideoSegmenter.properties
. We have that set to stabilitythreshold = 4 and changesthreshold = 0.02 .
As far as text recognition goes, has anyone got it working with the 1.2
release? Text recognition itself works fine, it's the creation of the
tiff files for recognition that fail. Most of the times these tiffs are
solid grey and so it's normal that no text is found. Could this be
solved by a different ffmpeg version?
