We've been looking at the 1.3 documentation for the capture agent
reference hardware:
http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHDOC/Reference+Hardware+1.3 which
lists suitable Epiphan VGA capture cards (VGA2USB, VGA2USB-I, VGA2USB LR
and VGA2USB LR-I), there's also a list of additional hardware such as
logitech webcams / blackmagic boxes etc. However we'd like to capture
DVI if possible, or at least high resolution VGA, has anyone tried any
of the other Epiphan products, such as DVI2PCI-e / DVI2USB (or even
VGA2PCI-e / USB)? Or perhaps any other card options that might be
slightly cheaper?
