If you know you're getting a digital signal, you should be able to use the blackmagic cards and capture HDMI, and a DVI->HDMI dongle is pretty trivial. A couple of folks on this list are doing HDMI work (Helsinki & UNL I think).
You'll need a beefier processor than the reference build though.
