Hi Chris,
No, you don't need to register to propose a session, but you do need to
create an account on the unconference site. Once you've created and
verified your account, you can propose a session using the link under
"Quick Links".
Please let me know if you run into any problems doing this or have any
questions.
Thanks!
Michelle

Sorry for cross-posting, just wanted to make sure the user list gets this as
well.

Betreff: [Opencast Matterhorn] Register for Matterhorn Unconference North
America! June 6-8, 2012
Hello Opencast Community,
The Opencast Board is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the
2012 summer unconference at Harvard University, June 6th - 8th. At
http://unconference.opencast.org, you will be able to officially register for
the unconference, and together we can plan an agenda full of inspiring,
cooperative and productive sessions.
If you are planning to attend the unconference, please start by visiting the
registration page and complete the steps for the registration process:
http://unconference.opencast.org/registration. We wouldn't like to sound
pushy, but it's graduation time at Harvard so you should plan, register, and
book quickly.
Once you have created an account and have registered to attend, consider the
sessions list your tool to suggest the topics you would like to be covered or
to propose a session you would like to lead. Never mind the duration of a
session at this stage, experience from the Oxford Unconference tells us that
many sessions were too short, some were just right, and, yes, some probably
too long. We'll see to that later. A session can be a presentation,
roundtable discussion (birds of a feather), workshop, users helping users -
whatever format works best for your topic.
Looking forward to seeing many of you in Harvard!
