In my current employment I have been tasked with setting up a capture agent for our venue in which we already have an Epiphan VGA Recorder PRO set up with camera and a microphone.
Currently we have to start the recordings manually through the web-interface associated with the Epiphan, but our goal is to set up a way to schedule the recordings. In order to do this I have been searching the web to find more details in how this is done by Matterhorn, but have been unable to find any reasonable guide on how to get started. I can get access to any additional hardware I may require, but seeing as how I don't know exactly what I need I can't put in a request for it. >From my understanding I need to set up a Linux server to run the Matterhorn >software, ins this correct? And in this case, would it be able to run on a >Raspberry Pi? Any links on how to get started with getting Matterhorn working would be much appreciated.
