Although it sounds like this specific problem is a separate issue, I too experienced the "endless ingest" with one of my installs. I'm only 80% sure, but I think the problem was that I didn't have the correct port appended to the capture agent's uri, so the communication was only going one way (from agent to admin but not back to agent). A firewall/network issue would have the same effect... perhaps there is a bug in the ingest code that isn't checking for existing hashes, or some such? There were different hashes for each ingest attempt, but they were all for the same recording. I'd messed with way too much stuff to track down what was happening in a sane manner, and it didn't happen again after a reinstall, so, "problem solved!", as it were. :-/ :Denny -- Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.
