Hi Adam,
the main bug that I see before we can cut a RC from my point of view is
the missing OCR. I tried it today on the centos machine (rev 10,039) and
Denis tried it on his Mac on monday (rev 10,026). Should this be fixed
already and I miss some configuration or what is the problem there?
The OCR feature was highly requested on the first day of CeBIT
yesterday, so that I was unfortunate that it was not working in any 1.1
version that we have yet. We tricked people with the 1.0 production
system results then. By the way the demo system there is a bild from
scratch 10,017 system on Ubuntu where the OCR did not work too.
I will not be available for testing for the end of the week (because of
the CeBIT), and I don't think that less than a week would be
appropriate. We have to be sure that the servers run stable for a "long"
time without memory leaks etc. From the current QA settings we have no
idea. The longest period the servers did run without a restart has been
2,5 days over a weekend.
