On the heels of the recent RESTfest, I'd like to propose another targeted sprint: Authorization fest 2011
Currently in trunk, Matterhorn has support for determining the organization, username, and roles for a given HTTP request, thread, or job. This enables services to enable or disable reading and/or writing specific objects, and to filter results for specific organizations and/or roles. In order to fully enable multitenancy, we need to incorporate organizations and roles in each of our services' queries. I therefore propose a coordinated effort to tackle each of our services in parallel. Are any committers available to work on these changes in the next couple of weeks? I'd also be happy to review and apply patches from non-committers looking to find ways to contribute. Thanks, Josh
