This isn't the highest priority, so I don't think you should spend much time on
it now. (Don't misunderstand me, though. I think it's very bad in terms of
usability, especially when one is uploading large files. The reason I say it's
not highest priority is because user can open the admin app in another
tab/window and continue working while the upload is happening.)
To make sure I understand the technical limitation, though, can you clarify
whether your comment above means
-- it's impossible to implement something like iTunes
OR
--it's not even possible to do what we do (did in 1.1?) for scheduling
recordings where we let user opt to "schedule in the background"? (I'll attach
screenshot).
