Right, I recall Josh mentioning a) and pointing out some places that was already being done. I think, once we have a better knowledge of solr locally (I don't know a thing about it, for instance), that would be the approach. I'd like to get series info into the DB anyways for analytics information. Correlating between a particular video being viewed in engage and the metadata for that video is a PIA, as the latter is all locked up in solr. Meaning I can't just do some DB queries to get it. And that's kind of bumming me out. But I don't want to duplicate data, that's just likely to end up in pain and misery for all. Tobias, can you expand on whether the episode service would play into this area at all?
