Hi all,

Today was what Google has been calling their "Pencil's Down" date for the
GSoC. It's mostly a formality: they ask for samples of your code from
before this date, but since they only let you submit it after the
evaluation phase, I can only assume they want it just for marketing
purposes.

But to cap all of my work for the summer and put it into one cohesive
place, I've put together a code review of what I have so far:
http://opencast.jira.com/source/cru/CR-MH-478. I'd actually really
appreciate it if anyone might like to take a look at it. I've set it so
that anyone can be a reviewer. There's definitely not a lot there, I know,
but I'd still like to add to it after the pencil's down date--at the very
least because I feel bad that I didn't get more done, if not because I
actually really enjoyed working on the project and want to see it come
closer to completion. Any input and advice, on features or on how to get
the last pieces put together into a working state, would be welcome. Just
as long as you keep in mind that code comments are still forthcoming! :-)

Hope everyone has a good rest of their summer. I'm off to finish my
thesis, but might be back on list and IRC in September! Fingers crossed
I'm done by then, anyways.

-Scott
