Hi Chris,
Thanks for your comments. See below:

You're amazing!
1. Delete all of these pages -
http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MH/Trunk. Instead, confluence
users will have access to edit
http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHTRUNK/Home (I just made the
copy today, so everything is up to date as of earlier this afternoon).
2. Move each version of release docs from
http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHDOC/Matterhorn+Documentation
to individual spaces, then provide the links to those spaces. These
spaces will only be editable by the documentation maintainers.
+1 on both of these.
3. Open up the permissions for MHDOC so that any current confluence
users can edit and contribute guides.
Clarification, what is left in here once all of the release docs are
gone? Or do you mean open up MH? I see nothing but release docs on
the left hand side of MHDOC.
There will be a new page "Installing Matterhorn", that will just list
the releases and point to installation and configuration guides in their
new spaces. Then we will add to this with sections like:
- What is matterhorn (likely starting with
http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MH/system+overview)
- Guides and cookbooks (moving some of the cookbook pages that are up to
date, will need everyone's help with that)
- Contributing to Matterhorn
- Glossary (as was suggested)
4. Continue restructuring
http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHDOC/Matterhorn+Documentation
to more of an "Adopter Guides" focus, with links to the release docs
plus other useful guides for adopters. Some documents from the
developer's wiki will be moved here that are relevant for adopters.
The general structure was proposed in an earlier thread
http://goo.gl/1YJ8J.
I agree in principle to the continued restructuring, though I had
responded to Andy's message with some things I think needed to be
addressed. In particular, I disagree with including the Getting
Started section since much of it is already in our release docs - I
would hate to see duplicated (and thus easy to get out of date!)
documentation!
There is no plan to duplicate anything that's in the release docs. It's
more basic than that - along the lines of what's covered in
http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MH/system+overview.
