+1 for Andy's idea. We discussed in our documentation meeting this
morning this could be implemented moving forward with the next release.
As of this morning, the changes proposed have been made in the wiki. I
will intentionally not summarize what was moved where: better yet please
look around with fresh eyes and let me know if you have any difficulty
finding information that should be easy to access. I'd appreciate your
feedback on the restructure.
I also moved a few documents from the Developer's Wiki to the Adopter
Guides, and request your help in reviewing and updating the following:
- http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHDOC/System+Overview
- http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHDOC/Glossary
Next steps: I'd like your help in going through the Cookbook documents
at http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MH/Cookbook and make a decision
on each -
a) Update and move to Adopter Guides > Guides and Cookbooks.
b) Keep where it is if only relevant to developers, or in progress
but not ready to share yet
c) Delete if no longer relevant
Any and all feedback and suggestions welcome as we continue this effort
to make it easier for new adopters to start climbing.

Instead details should be on the install and configuration page.
E.g. calloutboxes would identify that a different version of ffmpeg
needs to be installed for 1.2.2 or something like that.
Chris, Your proposal makes more sense especially if the install documentation
is centralized.
