Folks,

I have fixed the originally reported issue in MH-8950, and submitted a patch for it, by using an OSGI Bundle that combines the javax.activation and javax.mail jars. Greg, I think that Tobias should also review this patch.

However, fixing that issue has revealed downstream issues as documented in MH-9236 and MH-9237. MH-9236 is patched but MH-9237 remains open. With MH-9236 fixed, the actual distribution to YouTube succeeds, e.g. the media is viewable on YouTube, but the archiving of the distributed package fails. That problem is documented in MY-9237. I'm hoping someone else, who better knows what the requirements for building a media package archive for distributed media are, will pick up MH-9237 as I need to focus exclusively on our in-house project for the next several weeks.

There are several more tasks that need to be done before MH-8950 can be considered resolved. They are enumerated in the JIRA. I'm hoping someone else can address them in the near future. And, of course, MH-9237 also needs to be fixed before we can declare victory on distributing to YouTube (hopefully that fix will be the last necessary).
