A follow-up of sorts. The same version of Mauve does work on an Intel Mac under OS X 10.5.x (don't recall specific update status). Poking around on line for "_pthread_mutexattr_destroy$UNIX2003" leads me to believe that the problem is with the OS X version, and not the architecture. Any possibility of an OS X 10.4 build? Or is OS X 10.5 now required?
