Dear Aaron,
I've been using Mauve for long time to align and visualize bacterial genome.
I've recently updated my Mac system to MacOX Yosemite, and for the first time
tried to lunch MAUVE application (2.3.1 version). A message requiring me to
update and download the Java ES 6 module, that was required to open the
application, pooped up, so I just followed the link did what it was required.
After that, tried to open the application again and a new error message pooped
up:
"Mauve.app is damaged and cannot be open. You should place it in the
garbage bin"
Tried to make a new downloading of the application, but same message on and
on...
What's the problem?
Can you help me to solve it??
Thank you in advance!
Cristina
