Right now the only way for a controller to get config information is to examine the JDOM config document that it can obtain from the dispatcher. It's certainly possible to build this facility though. You just need a list of names?
A "*" view should be easy to implement, just tweak CommandMultipleViews.getView().

Is it possible for a controller to obtain a list of which Views are registered to the instant Command? The use case is that I want the controller to select a View by matching it to an input parameter.
A second, but related question, is how one would go about implementing
"*" feature for Views? Which is to say, if the View requested is not available, use the View named "*" instead. (Like what the Dispatcher does when it can't find a Command, but for Views within Commands.) The use case is that I have Controllers that look for different standard Views, which sometimes all go to one place, but other times do not.
