A 6100 is actually a very poor choice for trying to run Unix on. Most of the
Unices available for Power Macs will not run on it, as most require Open
Firmware of some kind to run well (or at all). I would recommend at least
a 7500, but even that will probably need a 604 daughtercard installed.
