How much RAM and HD space ?

If you're doing the YDL "development workstation" or "everything"
installation, perhaps you're running out of disk space. In that case
I'd try a "home office" or "base" install and build from that base,
adding only what you'll need.

With YDL 2.2 and a 2 GB drive that I was using at the time (with 100
MB for Mac OS/BootX), I was only able to fit the home office
installation with KDE. Had to select packages individually,
eliminating gnome.

I have also had the Mandrake installer crash during partitioning,
when I tried to custom select the partitions. It worked OK when I
accepted the defaults. FWIW.

What sort of error does the YDL installer report ?
