I've got an 8500/180 with 96MB RAM, 4GB HD and a 2x CD-ROM that I have
installed TDL 2.3 on. It seems to work OK, but when exiting KDE or GNOME it
lists lots of error messages. With 2MB RAM for the built-in video, it will
do 1024*678 at thousands of colors.

I also have a 9500/200 with 256MB RAM, 4GB HD, 8X CD-ROM, SCSI Zip100,
external Yamaha 4260 CD-RW, and an ATI Mach64 2MB video card. YDL 2.3 will
not install on this one at all. I get a message during the install that a
particular file was not found. 2.2 will install to this one, but it will
only display GNOME or KDE at 640x480, with a desktop of 1024*768.

Both of these also have MacOS 9.1 installed.

Has anyone had success trying to get 1024*768 on an ATI Mach64?
