What I did was use drive setup to create my Mac side, leaving my Linux stuff unpartitioned. Then I did the Linux partitioning in Linux.
However, since you'll need Apple drivers on the MacOS side of things, you'll probably need to find a hacked HD SC or Drive Setup to get it to work properly. I'm not sure what an 8200 is so I can't tell you whether or not it's one of the types that boot to Linux directly or not. Hi, Just a quick query! I wan't to install linux on a 8200 i have here and onto a 2.4gb drive i have. The HD is not apple and drive setup thus won't touch it. My question is this, does linux need the drive prepared by drive setup or will I be fine to do it from within linux? I intend to use the drive exclusivly for linux.
