It is a somewhat difficult install on OF versions <3 (just installed it on
a 7300 over the weekend, although mine has a very non-standard configuration
and the step-by-steps weren't too applicable). On 3+ it's much better.
Of course, it's worth it once you're there :-) We don't have to mess with
grotty yabooters or anything like that; the machine just boots straight in.

However, the 6400/6500 require a serial console IIRC for the initial
Open Firmware configure to get it to talk to the display (the output
device is on the netbsd model's page), and that is usually a dealbreaker
for most people on those models. (I keep a Wyse 30 in the closet for
those kind of emergencies.) This may dampen your interest.
