Yep, so far though it doesn't install the distribution in one click or decide what packages are part of a default set and dependencies or set up default networking or set itself up. Its just a tool, not a bad one but far off from a complete thought. Ever set up an Appleshare IP server, or Stalker email server? I want that kind of complete.

The whole idea is you have an old piece of equipment, by definition not worth a lot of time. Most people setting up a server need just the basics -see below. So in an hour your setting up movable type on your webserver not chasing down rpm's or editing config files. It's expedient Linux not the bleeding edge or even the sharp edge.

Thanks
Mark

Does anyone know if there are any PPC distributions that:
Install a default server setup and a working default configuration ( Web, FTP, Mail, Print, File-Netatalk & Samba, MySQL) then allow you to configure the whole thing from a browser?

I've been on a bit of a quest for something like this, E-smith is as close as I've come so far. Essentailly I want to turn an older Mac into a Cobalt Cube! Any help would be appreciated.
