Hello Miro,

sorry for the inconvenience. Ok that is now a bug in the DBMGUI. Until that bug is
fixed, you have two options:

A) Use an older DBMGUI (if you still have one)
B) Create the Database as before, bring it to mode ADMIN (as before), clear the log
volume ("dbmcli -d ... -u ...,... -uUTL -c util_execute clear log"), restore the data
backup and bring the database to mode ONLINE.

Best regards,

Subject: RE: Crash during recovery

OK, now I did exactly that, I created a small DB (new instance) on C
drive, then on the last page of the install instance I say, install for
recovery. The recovery wizard has started and when I click Start
(restore) on top of the page I get this error

-24977 unknown command "db_activate" [db_activate RECOVER "data" DATA]

No error in the .err file.

Any idea?

Miro
