Hi, A description of users you can find here: http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/htmhelp/ef/002998f1fb11d4aa9a006094b92fad/content.htm
To use the "Create Dialogs" of SQL Studio the database users should have the NOT EXCLUSIVE attribute. http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/htmhelp/48/f0daa5225811d3a97d00a0c9449261/content.htm Regards Wolfgang -----Original Message----- From: Filip Sergeys [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Donnerstag, 4. Dezember 2003 17:43 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: sqlstudio and resource user In sqlstudio, the sysdba user is able to use the visual database object builder tools(create table, sequence, ...) while a resource user is not able to use these tools and can only create database objects using written DDL. Where does that restriction come from? Can I change that? According to the docs sysdba and domain user are both owner of the system tables, though both apparently different tables. What is the difference?
