Hi All, I am trying to re-install MaxDB after a rebuild. I also have installed StarOffice 6. The latter sets up and environment variable called DBROOT to its own database. When I come to run SDBINST I get the message "Cannot run in DBROOT environment". Obviously there is a clash. Is there any way of running SDBINST specifying a different root or do I have to unset DBROOT first? If I unset DBROOT and then set it back to its original value, what will happen to SDB?
