Sorry, but I'm still forced to use this old OS ... :-(( Thanks in advance, Frank ----- Original Nachricht ---- Von: "Dittmar, Daniel" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> An: "'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Datum: 11.02.2004 16:32 Betreff: RE: Problems while installing MaxDB 7.5.0.8 on WinNT 4 > > > i tried to install the current version of MaxDB 7.5.0.8 on a > > Windows NT 4 system with Service Pack 6a. > > After doing some installation steps it is stopped with an > > error message in a popup-window named "dbmcli.exe - > > Einstiegspunkt nicht gefunden": > > Der Prozedureinstiegspunkt "GlobalMemoryStatusEx" konnte in > > der Dynamic Link Library "KERNEL32.dll" nicht gefunden werden. > > Windows NT 4 is not a supported platform for MaxDB 7.5 and > "GlobalMemoryStatusEx" is definitely a funktion requiring Windows2000 or > newer. > > I've heard that the 'Windows Platform SDK for NT 4.0" contains some of these > functions. > The SDK is a free download from Microsoft.
