This time two good news:

 - The problem does not start with 7.5.00 build 8 but with 7.5.01.
That means, that you probably tried something from the alpha 7.5.01 stuff.

 - In ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapdb/misc/ there are two (provisional) fixes:
sqlod32.dll and sqlod32w.dll. This fixes are only meant for those people
trying 7.5.01 and having ODBC problems as you did.

Of course, the coming releases of the ODBC drivers will be fixed.

Regards Thomas
