I don't have a solution to your problem, but I have a similar condition on
Win2K P4-2.4GHZ with 1GB of RAM. The difference being if I wait for a
couple minutes the tool finally does respond. I thought it might be
eating up all of my memory, so I ran task manager, and it is hardly
touching it. I also have the same version on a P3-733 w 256MB of RAM and
everything loads much faster than on by bigger box. Curious???

I've been download and successfully install maxdb 7.5.0.8. and also have
been successfully download and install maxdb-dbmgui. But when I try to
create a new database instance its take along time, and finally my
computer
become not responding and i have to terminate the task. Iam using winXP
run
on athlon 1GHz with 256 MB memory. Any comments ?? or maybe something i've
forgot ??
