Hi,

It depends how much effort you are willing to invest. Anything that works
with ODBC can be made to work with MaxDB. Unfortunately, there seems to
be no standardized over-the-wire protocol for databases like there is for
email and other protocols. There is also MySQL-Proxy, which will let you
set up the applications to use MySQL and then redirect them to a MaxDB
database. Check it out on the website.

Thank you,

Hi!
I have a question. Is it possible to run maxdb in relation with other
projects like it is possible with the mysql database?
I like to run projects (packages) like:

phprojekt
http://www.phprojekt

Jabber Deamon
http://jabberd.jabberstudio.org/

Cyrus Mail Server
http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/

If anybody can tell me that it is possible to run these *nix (Linux)
services on this database like it would with the mysql, then I would
thank you.

With best regards

Tamer
