Hi, by now it is impossible to resize database-volumes. In Release 7.6 it will be possible to resize the datavolumes by dropping them. Do not use param_addvolume for resizing existing volumes, because your database may become inconsistent.
Kind regards, Martin -----Original Message----- From: Robert Klemme [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, September 09, 2005 1:25 PM To: maxdb Subject: Resise DB Volume All, to me the doc about param_addvolume is not 100% clear with regard to resizing: is it possible to use this to set a new volume size and have it extended that way? Or would the effect simply be that the new size is stored somewhere without actually changing the volume? http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/en/ea/be1432481611d4aa1100a0c9430730/cont ent.htm Thx!
