hi, we are having problems to kill an event dispatcher. dbmevtdisp stop don`t work ... there`s still an event dispatcher running (but i don`t think so ...). here is what we`ve done:
check the state of the event dispatcher: dbmevtdisp state -d foodb -u name, pass OK Instance ID 0 user: name host: foo.somewhere.de configuration file: foo.cfg log file: foo.log okay, stop dispatching! dbmevtdisp stop 0 -d foodb -u name, pass ERR ERR_DISP_NOT_STOPPED: Event Dispatcher instance 0 not stopped oops, cannot stop! what`s the reason why? there are no running processes from user sdb. maybe the information are stuck in a semaphore or in the database itself? any ideas ? -- Ingo Trapphagen Datenbankadministration IOn Aktiengesellschaft Tel: +49 (0211) 924 95 - 124 Fax: +49 (0211) 924 95 - 111 Web: http://www.ion.ag -- MaxDB Discussion Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
