Working with Raimi on IRC, I have made some progress on my problem. This appears to be a security/authentication issue. I am using the 64 bit version of maxdb. The whole compressed package does not contain a GUI database manager and the latest download on the website is a 32 bit version. This appears to be where the problem is. In fact, it appears that none of the documentation, including the readme file has been updated for the .16 release. Thanks, Scott -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
