Hello Rami,

MaxDB has an own trigger/procedure/function language. See the SQL Tutorial
for examples at

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/en/9f/223f40dc371059e10000000a155106/content.

and the reference documentation of the CREATE DBPROCEDURE command

Hi there,

Can you tell if MAXDB supports PL/SQL (stored Procedures , Functions and
triggers ) ? This is compared to Oracle PL/SQL and how can we migrate
exiting Oracle PL/SQL shell scripts on UNIX to be on MAXDB?

What language standard MAXDB "CREATE DBPROC ,CREATE FUNCTION and CREATE
TRIGGER" follows ? I couldn't find proper document talking about how they
internally execute to understand the MAXDB engines.

Thanks
