The second link was the reference documentation for the CREATE DBPROCEDURE
statement (including everything within,
just follow the link behind '<routine>'. The complete reference is part of
the documentation set -
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/en/default.htm -> Basic Information ->
Reference Manual will lead you to the
syntax of all SQL statements understood by MaxDB.

Hope that helps

Dear Alex.

Thanks for your prompt response. I've seen the examples , but I don't know
where can I find this MAXDB's SQL language for the syntax and grammars.

If you have any documentation of this language , please let me know.

Thanks
Rami ALSAHHAR

Hello Rami,

MaxDB has an own trigger/procedure/function language. See the SQL Tutorial
for examples at

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/en/9f/223f40dc371059e10000000a155106/content.

and the reference documentation of the CREATE DBPROCEDURE command
for the syntax details here:

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/en/a7/41ee11605911d3a98800a0c9449261/content.

Hi there,

Can you tell if MAXDB supports PL/SQL (stored Procedures , Functions and
triggers ) ? This is compared to Oracle PL/SQL and how can we migrate
exiting Oracle PL/SQL shell scripts on UNIX to be on MAXDB?

What language standard MAXDB "CREATE DBPROC ,CREATE FUNCTION and CREATE
TRIGGER" follows ? I couldn't find proper document talking about how they
internally execute to understand the MAXDB engines.

Thanks
