Hello, the current SQL Studio setup does not recognize Windows Vista. But there is a workaround for your problem. If you have SQL Studio already installed on Windows NT or Windows 2000 copy the SQLStudioDSQL.dll into the installation directory of SQL Studio on Windows Vista. Then open a command prompt with administrator rights and execute "regsvr32 .\SQLStudioDSQL.dll" in the installation directory of SQL Studio.

(!) Cleaning the registry from any reference to SQL Studio and redo from start doesn't help either. Any valuable comment appreciated, especially on required 64bit OS and corresponding installation/version hints for SQL Studio / DBM GUI. Do I just run the wrong versions of SQL Studio and/or DBM GUI, or is indeed the immaturity of Vista/64bit the cause of trouble? Hm... its already the RC1 version of Vista.
