many inserts/updates which involve LOBs. You should also check the system table
DOMAIN.LOCK_HOLDERS while your transaction is running to see if it holding many
locks. In that case it may be advisable to explicitly lock your table during
your transaction.

big transactions
I've a very big transaction which involves one thousand
of insert before commiting everything
At a certain point during the transaction MaxDB
starts to slow down everything and inserts
are processed in a very long time
At the beginning they run in tens of milliseconds, after some
hundreds of inserts they run in tens of seconds and insert
time keep increasing
I see also a kernel process running at 100% cpu and
system with a very high wait on IO.
It seems to me that this could be related to some
kernel configuration parameter to manage transaction
that i need to extend
Any idea?
