Mathias,

  I had already done 'collectstatic' before my post.  Until I ran 
'collectstatic', I got no images or icons anywhere on the site.  After 
'collectstatic', everything looks fine EXCEPT for the login screen.  BTW, 
one of the biggest headaches that I had during the install on Ubuntu 14.04 
were all the reference to 'manage.py'.  When using the virtual environment, 
'manage.py' is not on the path.  If you look for 'manage.py', there is such 
a file in the venv, but it seems to be some type of template.  Wherever the 
documentation says to run 'manage.py', when  using the virtual environment 
it seems that you must substitute 'mayan-edms.py'.
