Having a hard time homing down on the cause. Office documents are incomplete is very few instances, and when incomplete, resetting the server causes the incomplete document to be fully accessible. I'm inclining to think it might have something to do with a value being cached or retained somewhere. COMMON_TEMPORARY_DIRECTORY is used by the converter and office converter, just checked and there are no hard coded references to '/tmp'.
