Dear Roberto, Thank you so much for trying to help. The good news is that there is a way around by simply using '/tmp' as COMMON_TEMPORARY_DIRECTORY... However, I had a look at https://github.com/dagwieers/unoconv/pull/101, and changed the home directory for my edms_[instance] user to '/usr/local/edms_[instance]/mayan/media/tmp', i.e. the declared COMMON_TEMPORARY_DIRECTORY, which is certainly writeable. Alas, no joy, yet: Of course Mayan- EDMS write to it, but it is only the first page of the Office document that gets converted, as before. Let me know, if you ave any more ideas... no rush, though, as we have a workaround. Thank you so much, Chris
