Hi everyone. I have been working with Chris Burcham in the previous post
on Mayan and we have run into another issue.

We are using imagemagick for our back end graphics converter. When we scan
in a document the thumbnail looks horrible and the OCR on it does not grab
a lot of information. But then we tried to download the document with the
horrible thumbnail and it looks great. So it appear that mayan is OCRing
the thumbnail and not the original PDF. My first question is there anyway
to change this.

They we found a reference online saying the Tesseract OCR will only OCR
Tiff images. So we scanned in a document as a .tif. The thumbnail and the
download look amazing, but mayan didn't OCR the document automatically. We
had to OCR the document manually. This is not ideal as we plan on
uploading large amounts of documents. So my second question is is there
anyway to change a setting in mayan so we can auto OCR a .tif file.

Thanks.
