<https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-aBK_cBWWLRI/VIjp65WBalI/AAAAAAAABsY/VOIrzssjyOQ/s1600/mayan.png> I'm liking Mayan-EDMS more and more. I'm running into problems when more than a few files are in the staging folder though. Has anyone else run into this, or could anyone point me in the right direction?
We're pushing documents from a network copier/scanner directly to a samba share on our Mayan EDMS box. The shared directory is in /usr/share/shaging which at the same directory level as Mayan. The Mayan-EDMS install is pretty much stock. We have configured a document type, but haven't set up a metadata type. We have our users, groups, roles, permissions, holder, folder, and staging folder. I go to Documents > Upload new documents > Choose type > Next step > Next step > Mayan fails when the next page is loaded. See the attached image for the errors. Sometimes 1 or 2 thumbnail previews will display but usually they don't load. There are 10 pdfs in the staging folder during these tests. My first impression is it has something to do with generating those thumbnails. Most of the errors reference Ghostscript files. Any suggestions? In the short term, is there a way to disable the thumbnail generator to see if that will limp it along? -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mayan EDMS" group.
