I suspected as much. As you've mentioned before, the Windows QT VDIG frame 
grabber support is virtually non-existent. 

So is there any chance of an update to the DirectShow plug in to add the 
capability to "intercept" frames for processing *before* they get displayed in 
the canvas (e.g. similar to the QTGrabber "NewFrame" event that gets the frame 
as a picture...)?
